Connecticut Land Conservation Council

The Connecticut Land Conservation Council works to increase the pace, quality and scale of land conservation in Connecticut while assuring the perpetual, high quality stewardship of conserved lands in the state.

The Council is a coalition of land trusts, statewide conservation and advocacy organizations, town conservation and open space commissions, garden clubs and private individuals working together for the common interests of Connecticut's conservation community.

The Council’s mission is to advocate for land preservation, stewardship and funding, and ensure the long term strength and viability of the land conservation community. The intent of the new Council is to enable our conservation community to better learn from each other and to even more effectively advocate for critical issues at the State Capitol.
